Built for Colorado concrete
Snowmelt, mag chloride, freeze–thaw cycles and intense UV at altitude are hard on bare concrete and on thin one-coat kits. SBV starts with the slab itself, then builds a full system in layers to match how you use the space.
- Diamond grind & prepOpens the slab and removes weak concrete, sealers and contamination so the coating bonds.
- Repair & moisture barrierCracks and spalls are filled. A moisture vapor barrier goes down when the slab needs one.

Project day
Prep first — grinding, repairs, removal or moisture barrier — then your system goes down.
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished space with you and go over care and when it's ready to use.
Know before you hire
Ask how the slab is prepped
Diamond grinding opens the concrete so the coating bonds. Acid etching and a roller rarely hold up to Colorado winters.
Ask about moisture
Concrete moves water vapor. If your slab shows dampness or old coatings peeling, ask for a moisture vapor barrier option.
Get the system in writing
Your written estimate should list prep, every coat in the system and the warranty terms, if any. SBV puts it all in writing.
